Yeah, something similar to "Killed by Google". Maybe we need a template on Github for such sites to catalog bullshit, lord knows there's a lot of categories of bullshit we can catalog...

Oh actually they do have their source available: https://github.com/codyogden/killedbygoogle

It's not just a rip-off, it's build directly on top of the killedbygoogle repository!

https://github.com/fabianoriccardi/killed-by-microsoft is not a fork, but it has many of the commits from https://github.com/codyogden/killedbygoogle

The earliest commits from fabianoriccardi include git messages like: > replacing "Google" with "Microsoft", removed PressCoverage

Anyway, great code recycling at least right? It's a fun thought that the author of killedbygoogle ultimately wrote most of the code on killed-by-microsoft.

I think we're way beyond the point where Google is simply not to be trusted with any of its communications regarding the longevity of legacy products. See the killed by google graveyard guy (https://github.com/codyogden/killedbygoogle) for all examples there.
Hey HN,

A cheeky weekend project ignited by the recent Inbox by Gmail discontinuation announcement. Still adding historical products, but you're welcome to post an issue with product info or contribute at the Github:
