What does HackerNews think of twemoji?

The "Twtr" (Twitter) column, I believe, is Twitter's "twemoji"[1], which is CC-BY.

But your general point about the link being for comparison purposes and not implying any particular license is also correct, too.

I have a site that makes heavy use of Emojis and to have the same rendering on every device I use the Twemoji (A simple library that provides standard Unicode emoji support across all platforms) made by Twitter.
