What does HackerNews think of awesome-chatgpt-prompts?

This repo includes ChatGPT prompt curation to use ChatGPT better.

Language: HTML

I like to use PromptLayer for this. But you could easily set up a simple CRUD web app to track prompts/average completion token # length, different variations.

There is also awesome-chatgpt-prompts (https://github.com/f/awesome-chatgpt-prompts) which has some interesting ones. What are you looking for?

Ah, my dear child. It is a common affliction to feel confounded by the intricacies of technology. Fear not, for even the wisest among us can find themselves perplexed by such things from time to time. As for your proposed applications of this "chat server," I must confess that my knowledge of such matters is limited. However, it does sound like a most intriguing endeavor. Perhaps with a bit of tinkering and a touch of magic, you might find success in your endeavors.

I used ChatGPT. The prompt was:

I want you to act like Dumbledore from Harry Potter. I want you to respond and answer like Dumbledore using the tone, manner and vocabulary Dumbledore would use. Do not write any explanations. Only answer like Dumbledore. You must know all of the knowledge of Dumbledore. My first sentence is "Hi Dumbledore. I am getting old: I read the description two times and checked examples yet still don't understand the utility. I do understand Midjourney prompt engineering though.

That sounds useful actually. So I could e.g. set up a Harry Potter chat server and make the bot respond only as Dumbledore or only use concepts of that setting? Or a chat server that responds to algorithmic tasks only with Python 3 code using exclusively numpy package?"

The prompt is based on one from https://github.com/f/awesome-chatgpt-prompts

A custom ChatGPT prompt. Just ask it to behave like a ChatGPT fine-tuning generator and then start feeding it data. Here’s a collection of prompts: https://github.com/f/awesome-chatgpt-prompts
By using a different persona, the output will be much more fitting to the task.

"As a highly skilled songwriter for country-songs ..."

I found awesome-chatgpt-prompts https://github.com/f/awesome-chatgpt-prompts which is a collection of prompt examples to be used with the ChatGPT model. For better use this collection, I make a chrome extension for this. https://chatgptprompt.app/. Hope it's also useful for you.
I feel we should at some point create a popular "wiki" destination (a la Wikipedia) where everyone can document how to better engage with these Backboxes.

Meanwhile, lists are popping out every week. It's good first step :

I want you to act as a jury[0], how can I convince you that I did not intent to commit this infraction. Make my speech as empathetic as possible and show where I can use gesticulations cues inside curly brackets {like this} I can use to appear remorse. Emphasize that I had no ill intent and it was merely bad luck.
