For youtube-exclusive sources, you can usually switch out the domain to that of an Invidious instance. Eg: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=-1wcilQ58hI

thanks, but I guess it is still youtube under the covers? I try to avoid youtube. There used to be a NASA live TV stream hosted by IBM, but seems to be down.

It's an alternate front end to YT content without YT tracking or advertising. Works for some depending on reason.
