I'm glad I've become dependent on the ergonomics of my Kinesis Advantage keyboards because I fear I'd own way too many mechanical keyboards otherwise...

Have you tried any of the more modern split keyboards? I use an ErgoDox at work and it's fantastic.

I've briefly typed on someone else's ErgoDox but it's not the same. The Kinesis is not just split, the keys for each hand are in a concave bowl.
